I'm having some issues with installing the (Car Jump Arena) maps to Beam NG. I followed the steps from the author but they didn't exactly match my files because either it didn't account for a Steam installation or it was for an outdated version. When I launch the game the mods box appears on the home screen and when I click on Mods it shows me the map pack and gives me the option to unload it. I have tried both loaded and unloaded through this menu but in any game mode I cannot see the Car Jump Arena map. I've also tried re-downloading the mod, reinstalling the game, verifying integrity of game cache and also installing it through the steam folders. I'm completely at a loss so if anyone has any advice that would be great.
Are you trying to download it manually? Or are you trying to use the installer? If you're doing it manually, you just need to take the zip file and put inside the mods folder in your BeamNG.Drive folder inside your documents folder. Leave the file zipped, and that's all you need to do.
That's what I did initially and it showed up in the game options but did not display in any of the game modes. --- Post updated --- Apologies my good man, I'll switch to that forum, thanks for the heads up. :]
It's because steam doesn't delete added file in the game folder when you install something. Uninstall the game, go to program files steam steamapps common and delete beamng drive folder and then reinstall it
