That's a same, this thing is awesome, would love to see the final touches on it, its my new favourite 4x4
For driving/rock crawling it's very nice in it's current state, for crashing - not so much. So depending what you prefer to do, it might be worth a try
Everything like drive shafts and springs etcetera were already modeled but not yet implemented into the game yet. I have completely lost interest in beamng and I do not plan on finishing this ever. You can take over the project if you want.
I made the knuckles on the front using the old RoR prop method that the devs implemented after I had whined for them for months on one end. Same principle: http://www.rigsofrods.com/threads/69889-Prop-Placing-tutorial
I dont have any sound with mine... Everything else works great. Is there a way to get the winch to work?
For being a cancelled car, this is one of my new favorites. Wish it had a steering wheel though. Great mod. Thanks.
Easiest way to get sound working with any mod that has suffered loss of engine sound is to grab the file "sounds.lua" from: "BeamNG.drive\lua\vehicle" in whichever steamapps folder Beam is installed to (not where you'd typically install mods) then rename a copy of it to "custom_sound.lua". Then replace the file of the new name in the lua folder of the mod you intend to fix. In the case of this and most mods that'd mean you want to put your new custom_sound.lua into the already installed helljeep2 folder under vehicles (I separate my mod folders as Vehicles and Levels, I've read people just use a "mods" folder so if you just have that should be okay, just go with it) (BeamNG.drive\vehicles\HellJeep2\lua\custom_sound.lua) If the mod delivers null values to the speedo then load the old speedo app in the UI manager. ---- I don't think I ever posted in this thread in all the development so I'll take this chance to say a massive thank you to Dennis-W and anyone who helped em' out on this fantastic mod. I'm so glad all the offroad beasts we have for this game are genuine quality mods, well deserving of the folder name in your archive "Helljeep2" Thanks again for all your work and have a good one.
i cant drive it but i can pull it bye the nodes any suggestions on wat i should do or can do to fix it. like when i press the throtle, break, etc. nothing happens.
As Flippi was attempting to tell you, this thread has been dead for a pretty good amount of time now. The last comment before yours was almost a year ago. When you comment on an old post like that we call it a bump because it bumps it back up on the forums. Unfortunately, this was cancelled, which means it is extremely unlikely it'll be worked on again. However, if you don't mind several issues with the Jeep, it still loads into the game and drives.
