Ugliest cars ever

now this isn't ssangyong ugly, or drag countach ugly: this is just so incomprehensibly off putting despite its lack of detail
the pathetic body, angry scrunched face, low hanging afterthought door handles and its lack of identity whatsoever
the back isn't any better, almost no parallel lines and everything just looks wrong, like this was designed to be inthe background of a call of duty game or something

this car feels like it was anti-styled, so many subtle things are wrong yet there are no glaring faults
it pisses me off much more in person

 

Idk it's really just bland and ignorable, it hasn't aged well (like most Hyundais) but I never look at one with disgust. After all it's really just a glorified fleet car, so the anti-styling is kinda purposeful. Luckily they got a bit more interesting after that gen, particularly the Elantra GT.

 

yeah, those elantras just always used to get under my skin, possibly because i have bad memories associated with them
i'm amazed at how far hyundai has come in the last ten years, i grew up with an elantra gt and it still looked solid even in 2020

again, not super ugly, but i hate the rake of the windshield and how the car doesn't know what it wants to be

 

Mitsubishi FTO, the back looks fine, but the front is very "eh" (kinda looks like a Jag clone) and the body lines on the side aren't very consistent.

someone spoke up against the MKIV Supra

 

It ain't pretty, but I wouldn't say it's bad enough for this thread.

 

Imo it looks like a really bubbly dead fish or sum. People say the new Supra is ugly but I don't think they realize the source material wasn't pretty to begin with. And honestly the only complaint-worthy thing with the MKV is the BMW powertrain because it still looks relatively decent compared to the MKIV.

Out of all the IV's competition, it's styling aged the worst.

 

stock wheels are gross, but other than that its got nice lines

 

i agree, it's not a beautiful car but not ugly either, the front and sides are solid enough for the 90s but i never liked how fat the rear end looked

(it's much harder than it should be to find pictures of these bone stock)

 

the Apollo being stupidly ugly is why I love it

 

It looks like a Burnout Paradise car
