[TUTORIAL] How to shorten Beamng.com links

The BeamNG.com website links can be quite long sometimes:

So here's a tutorial on how to shorten them.
First, here's a breakdown of this website's links:

Now, there are some things that are optional, these include:
Thread/resource name
the "www" (if a safety protocol is given and the other way around)
So, just removing the thread name and the "www." can already give you a big lenght reduction:
https://www.beamng.com/threads/community-screenshots-each-post-an-image-of-beamng-drive.1141
> https://beamng.com/threads/1141

The same thing can be applied with resource links aswell:
https://beamng.com/resources/15598/

But wait, there's more.
the shortening of specific posts is also possible.
For example, take this link:
https://beamng.com/threads/1141/page-5292#post-1275556
We still have this pesky "page-5292#post-1275556" at the end there. To remove that,
simply remove everything between the first separator to the post ID:
https://beamng.com/1275556
and type "posts/" infront of the ID:
https://beamng.com/posts/1275556
This cannot be applied to resource reviews!

Right click on the circled number:

Go to the end of the dialogue:

And there you go!

You could also use the BB Code link function, so that you can hide links behind text, but that wouldn't be possible on discord for example.
Also you could just use a link shortener such as https://bitly.com, but I prefer this version because it allows people to see which site they get redirected to.

I hope this helps clean up link redirects in posts and makes the forums a bit more overseeable.
