[Tutorial] How to prevent Data Migration

    Data Migration after each update can be inefficient and buggy. The migration process involves lots of disk writing. It often lose save file and/or customized settings or outright preventing the game from working, as shown.
    Fortunately, there's an easy way to mitigate this. You need to do this after updating the game but BEFORE running the game.
    1.Locate your user folder, which defaults in "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive"
    2.Rename the folder that contains the data that goes by the game of version number to the current version. In this example of 0.34 update, you should rename the folder from 0.33 to 0.34.

    3.Right click and edit the properties of the "latest" shortcut. In the case of 0.34 update, change the target "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.33" to "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.34"

    4.Edit the "version.txt" text file. In the case of 0.34 update, change the 0.33.3.0 to 0.34.0.0

    5.Clear cache manually by deleting the "temp" folder to prevent NO(or irregular) TEXTURE

    6.If you have lots of mods, search "main" inside the "vehicles" folder and delete all "main.materials.json".

    0.35 is out, remember to rename the folder before running the updated game
