ok so i had an old computer i had to turn back on for someone to use and after logging in to their account, i just saw a black screen with a cursor. so here's how to fix it. 1. either press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open task manager directly or press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and click on Task Manager. 2. click on File, then Run New Task. a window will pop up. 3. type "iexplore.exe" on the textbox (WITHOUT QUOTES) 4. just wait until everything loads. the taskbar will load first and then everything else.
