Could you possibly make a 2 speed drag transmission with trans brake for other vanilla cars? I've got a Grand Marshall on No2 that runs 8.3's in the quarter mile. I'm trying to make it a bit faster and I could definitely use a trans brake and 2 speed. I'm sure others would agree, being that the only 2 speed that I've found is outdated/or only for the D series.

Theres a mod that adds drag style transmissions for pretty much every vanilla vehicle, has both 4 and 6 speed variants and all of the ratios are customizable. has a transbrake too. you could just use that for the time being if that helps.
Well, the goal was to eliminate as many un-needed gears. With so much power, a 2 speed works great. That's why the powerglide is revered as one of, if not, the best drag racing trans. 1 speed for launching off the line quickly and a 2nd for hauling tail down the rest of the strip. I've gotten the car down to sub 7.8's but I know it can do a bit better...
well... it just doesn't work. its just that. i use the automatic transmission with the trans break and nothing happens. if i am going down a hill i just keep picking up speed no matter what i do. no matter what gear i am in it just does nothing but act like a normal transmission.
Are you sure you're pressing the right key? It's Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Space by default... Check your keybinding, try binding the transbrake to a different key/button.
Are you using the 4speed or the 6speed? The 6speed is fine, I didn't test the 4s so I didn't realise I forgot to add the transbrake until now when I'm making one for the van. Thanks for pointing that out. My fault.
