Unsolved Train mod does not appear

so I downloaded a train mod from https://www.beamng.com/threads/train-locomotives.57150/
I put it in the beamng files under a new folder called vehicles, I start the game, and it doesn't appear in the repository

 

probably because the mod is not out yet and its a prank file with nothing in it

No it works. It's not a prank

 

You have to put it in Documents/BeamNG.drive/mods for it to work

 

I tied downloading sultan peak
it still doesn't appear

Are you extracting the mods?
If you are you don't need to

I think it actually won't work if extracted
