Traffic App

Since I dicovered the Traffic App, I love it. I set the parameters like this:

• Speed: 160 km/h (Auto unchecked)
• Risk: 0.7 to 0.9

It makes the traffic drive much faster, taking more risks (sometimes crashing) and it makes the game much more fun. If you don't know this, you should give it a try.
Now I have 2 questions:

1. When setting my parameters through the Traffic App UI, shoud I reset the traffic to have them taken into account? I think the answer is no, because I see a change in the traffic behavior as soon as I change the parameters. Just want to be sure...
2. When I press M to see the map, looking for directions, then come back to the game, the App UI shows the parameters are back to the default ones. Did the App really reset the traffic parameters or is it just a refresh of the App UI? In other words, should I set my parmeters again?
