Toyota Prius or Ssangyong Rodius

Okay so i had the idea of the opinion of the community on both cars . So let it begin .

 

Rodius. The prius is actually more damaging to the environment than a non hybrid. Rodius is cheap too.

 

I'd get the prius, just so I can sell it and then get another car

 

Rodius anything to get away from buying a Prius.

 

Prius. Well-engineered, actually modern, typical design (not just plain ugly like the Ssangyong), and more efficiënt. I'd rather have the Auris hybrid or Lexus CT200H though.

Yeah, come and lynch me, car enthusiasts.

 

I'd steal the Rodius to smash it into the Prius.

 

only issue with it being more efficient, thats only on the road. It is one of the number 1 most polluting cars through manufacture of the car, extraordinarily so. It is possibly one of the most environmentally damaging cars there is and for that reason only I hate it.

And so are a Tesla, any VW GT-E, Fisker Karma, McLaren P1 and LaFerrari. All hybrids.
I see your point though, but what counts for me in this debate is that Toyota actually put effort into making a 'eco friendly' car with a smart and amazingly well functioning pair of engines, and not just use old licensed Mercedes Benz engines slammed into a rubbish body like Ssangyong did.

I kinda agree on the design part except it has a grille which looks like a mustache and it looks like Toyota Broke the Headlights and welded a metal piece to it . I prefer this one . But the Prius is inefficient . The Prius is like $60.000 in here , the same price of the 86 . Overpriced Shiz .

Toyota Prius III: 4,0l / 100km claimed

'User Review' numbers from Autoweek.nl:
Rodius: 10l / 100km
Prius: 4,5l /100km

Rodius, I'd still not be caught dead in it, but it looks like something you can openly laugh at. You just can't walk up to a Prius owner and start laughing. The Rodius' design seems to heavily complement a concrete wall.

 

Prius.
Not for any practical reason, but it never looked bad to me and it can be quite cool with a kit and some wheels.

 

Just a little more black on a white Prius is enough, you can easily ruin a Prius over modifying.

They have an electric-petrol duel hybrid and any Volkswagen ever basically wipes the floor with it in style.

Also, are all cars so expensive in Indonesia? $60k for a Prius is 'a bit' overpriced...
