i am looking for someone to transfer my blender Toyota into Beamng. i am very new to this and have no clue how to program my creation. Here are some pictures of it!!!
Cool truck. Have you checked the wiki? It is very broad but it should give you a pretty good idea of how a car for the game is make. You can also check the content creation part of the forum, there are tutorials and answers to questions in there. Good luck.
well i have read the content creation and im a little stumped, if never done any coding in my life so im not so good i will check the wiki though... thanx
I can get it in game for you. I've just learned to do this and I've done it with success twice so far. Getting color on the vehicles after they're in game is next on my list, but I don't know how yet.
if you could get it in game for me i would be soooooo happy!!!!! her is the blender file - - - Updated - - - wrong file!!!! here is the right one
Anyone know why the materials are freaking out on this thing? It looks normal in Blender, this is what shows up after importing from Blender:
It's probably your normals. Go into Blender and recalculate the normals. Make sure they're facing out. You might have to flip a few of them manually. That should fix it.
I tried that, did not work. I might mention that the hood, front fenders, roof are all one part. The wheels are 4 separate parts, so why the checker board pattern?
Well, there's somewhere to start. Merge/separate the mesh into the parts you need. Don't try to put the mesh in-game if it isn't properly separated. It probably won't help your texture problem, but it'll make things a lot simpler for texturing later on.
All the parts are separate except the grill/hood/cab. It did some funny things when those were separate because I don't have the jbeam right yet.
