Hello so, I'm working on a project that requires a little bit more tuning options over the standard 'sport intake/turbo' tuning formula you commonly see in beamng, with that i want to include different camshafts and less restrictive airfilters, also better carburators and EFI and better flowing intake mainfolds, that sort of thing. However, there's no current wiki page or anything at all telling me all the available Torquemod options, because only TorqueModMult (engine internals), TorqueModIntake, and TorqueModExhaust is not able to stack up (eg. if i set carburator torqueadd curve, and then one for a less restrictive mainfold, it simply overrides the carburator one with the mainfold, instead of adding up to the total amount, that while running both at TorqueModIntake, since exhaust and multiplier are beeing used by a different part, like tubular exhausts and forget internals), and if i rename TorqueModIntake for TorqueModCamshaft or whatever it also continues to not add up the power. Beeing that the case is there anything i can do to make such mods possible and some more knowledge on torquemod would be appreciatted too since there's not much out there to learn right now. Thanks for the attention
What I would do in this case would be using variables in the main engine torque curve. That would force every camshaft, air filter, etc. to be adjustable in tuning menu though so it could be a bit messy. For example on the torque curve instead of 100, 200 you would have to set like 100, "$=200*$camshaftMulitplier*airFilterMultiplier", etc. Each different camshaft, air filter, etc. would declare this variable as separate, with separate default value, tuning range, etc. You would have to make the slots with them coreSlots so it isn't possible to have none because that would break the engine Jbeam. This probably isn't the best solution possible but it should work.
