    Hi there!

This is kind of a dumb idea, since it'd break the very essence of the game for many of you guys. But I actually did move away from crashing the car, and more into speedrunning.

Here's my plan: To have BeamNG use a tool (such as TrackMania Nations Forever) in which you can TAS some of the MAPS.

BeamNG already has support for slowmo, and recording. The only thing it'd be added would be a "recorder" for certain movements, kind of like a Macro Recorder on a PC (Which I know will be pointed out).

I'd really like to see some "Pixel Perfect" Runs on BeamNG! And Theorically Perfect runs.

It's not too complicated to implement either.

There is already a recorder in the editor.

You can't do that because BeamNG is so complex that it will never simulate the same run twice, even with perfectly identical inputs.

that as well, even if you use the recorder meant for AI to follow, the results won't be the same

What I noticed is that the AI follows "roughly" the same path, even breaks sometimes to try and keep up. Doesn't really work for my purpose.

Is that so? Woah, that's a boomer. I really wanted to create some spectacular shortcuts with the suspension barely surviving....
