WIP Beta released The Realistic Derby Project -New Free Version! 1.6

Roundback wagons coming next update, it won't be much longer, we've finished testing the body and I'm finishing up my short list of things left to do. Bumpers and everything will be in the same parts menu as everything else, you can open it by pressing ctrl+W, and of course they are only on the 4 fullsize cars. The derby bumpers will be under the frame section.

 

The mod is conflicting with the official content. The official barstow spawn with rear suspension "8 1/2 derby rear" instead of "leaf spring rear axle''

 

Will you make a Bluebuck a derby car?

 

"Future fullsize cars such as the BlueBuck will have immediate priority"

Are you sure this is mine? Unless I changed something without remembering, this doesnt appear to be in my current build. And I wouldn't have added a "8 1/2"... maybe 8 3/4 would be mine

I see you tweaked the engine in the last update, but the moonhawk for some reason feels way underpowered now. Like the car can barely spin its tires or get out of its own way. I'm not sure what exactly you tweaked but its my favorite car to use but now it feels sluggish.

 

theres a stock 350 engine that is a little weaker than it was before and a "mild built" engine that is a little more powerful than before. Other than their power curves, the only thing I changed is how long it will run after it gets hot, made it a little more durable. Try checking your rear gears if those dont help

most of the presets have the weaker engine now, I hesitate to give powerful engines to the CPUs because they don't handle the power well

 

I love this mod I can not find out out how to get the wagon body when I spawn in the frame all i see is the front and the tires the wagon body is not there

 

Clear cache, lots of people having this issue

Speaking of headers, i'm having an issue with them disappearing and reappearing randomly

side note, some short 4 into ones, and a set of medium 4 into ones with evap tubes would be sweet.

guess the guys that like turnouts deserve something but ehhh lol

 

Yea, I just fixed the disappearing/black issue. I'll probably push another mini update soonish with just new headers. I've got a few different versions modeled up with different heights, so I'll get some short options too. I had to put turnouts for the Minnesota guys lol

also disappearing might partially get fixed by clearing your cache

 

How's the Bluebuck's progress?

 

Good, I have most of the stuff for a stock class done or started. Frame is still being tuned for full box frame

Still having problems with the wagons losing oil pressure. Not sure why.
