This is my first car mod in this game, I have wanted to be able to do this for so long, and finally I can The Offroad Moonhawk basically is the pickup frame, runningear and engine with the Moonhawk body ontop, What I have made myself is some Roll cages for the body and engine, a roof rail for the offroad lights, a new radiator support, a front bumper and an cooling fan for the pickup engine. Just wanted some input the mod Offroad variant Sport variant DeathProof variant
Thank you It handles pretty well I would say, but see for yourself Scroll to 4:30, tried to start it from there, but now luck --- Post updated --- Yes it is pretty good at that to, with lockable diffs and a low range gearbox, just like the pickup
Some work on a new bodystyle, but do not know how to make normal maps myself, any tips on that? So the body panels will have nice edges and shadows
Just get a fully rusted skin, too long exhaust pipes and we have a full blown Mad Max war machine. *waiting intensifies* --- Post updated --- Wait. Since it has D-series V8 does it mean it will have stage 1-3 superchargers available? It would be also perfect if it had AWD/4WD/RWD transfer boxes like the D-series itself.
Will it possibly have a solid axle front suspension option at some point? From my experience with the D-series, the steering is a little fragile on IFS. But it's looking great so far! Really excited for a 4x4 Moonhawk!
yes all the options from the pickup should be there --- Post updated --- yes it is a bit weak, and the solid front axel are in --- Post updated --- thank you
Awesome mod, cant wait. I have a question though, how did you get the follow camera that you used in the video to work?
Some more work done on the back wall of the cab, and it is now J-beamed to, now I just need to learn how to make a normal map for it so it don`t look so flat and boring. I used a Lua trigger to activate a camera, the rest is automatic, it is all in the world editor, no coding needed
For the normal map, is the rear of the cab a separate texture from the rest? if so should be fairly easy to make a normal map in gimp using the normal map and dds plugins.
this is so up my alley, it looks so badass thanks for the video --- Post updated --- thank you so much, you are far to kind, but hope the skills will come with time --- Post updated --- yes it has its own texture, but I did not get the same color as the rest of the body, so i had to use the car's own texture for the parts that painted. so I just moved those parts to the hood and Roof in the texture file, if you know what I mean. but will try to convert the textures i have made to the dds format. and thanks for the tips
