The latest updates of this games takes a lot of time and a lot of disk usage, is it me?

    Hi, lateley the last few updates of this game are being kinda problematic. The downloads are super fast. As you can see i'm not downloading anything (0 bytes/s current) but steam is doing something to the files because there's high disk usage and takes a lot of time to be playable.

    I don't know if it's from my end or now updates are like this. Are updates compressed or something?

    That stage depends from Steam, the game is not running.
    And yes, all Steam updates are usually compressed. After it downloads, Steam has to unpack and apply the update, which duration varies.
