(Being born in the 21st century, I was fascinated at all the mods spanning a life-time I wasn't alive - there were so many, I decided to compile a list)

To my knowledge, the only way to upload images/media to a forum post is to upload them to Imgur, and then copy and paste the link from imgur - this link eventually becoming corrupted over time.

To combat this, I've done a massively in-detail article into the (entire) history of BeamNG.Drive on my blog with pictures of mods included

What Counts As (BeamNG) Lore?

This is a very difficult question, but I think the generally accepted BeamNG Lore is

1) Not a real-life make/manufacturer
2) A decent J-Beam/quality of mod/official content/working lights/sounds (No Automation...sorry)
3) Consistency With Brand/Manufacturer (i.e - ETK is modern/European/German, Civetta Italian/styling, Bruckell American)

4) I won't include any mods broken by updates* (except the Patent Motorwagen for historical reasons)

5) Was/Is on BeamNG.Com Forums/Mods

6) The First Rule Of BeamNG Lore is that you don't talk about The Humans.

*(Released) means FIRST released, just for the purpose of seeing the oldest mod, the mods most likely have been updated since then and will look much more modern than their older versions.

Prologue

In mid-2022 archaeologists discovered some debris on the beach. Alone, it could been mistaken for driftwood - but it turned out a storm had washed ashore a 10,000 BC pre-historic vehicle they aptly named the "Canopysaurus Flintmobile"

1800 - 1926 (The Automation Era)
Before 1927, the world was black and white, and the only vehicles on the road were automation vehicles and horse-drawn carts - as time went on and technology, safety and crumple zones improved, so did car design and the quality of cars.

10,000 BC - Canopysaurus Flintmobile (Agent_Y)

(Gavril have the 2nd, 4th and 5th longest-running cars)
(Autobello have the 1st and 3rd) - talk about Italian Reliability.

Some Stats
- The Hirochi Sunburst (2014) was the first car in the 21st Century to be released on BeamNG.
- The Grand Marshal and the covet were the first cars to get liveries/paint jobs - as early as May 2013 the Grand Marshal had a Police Variant and the Covet had a driving school variant (C. Rash's Driving School) this has been in operation since 2013 leading to mixed results...

- The SBR4 was the first car to recieve an electric variant
- The Autobello Piccolina was the earliest non-American car on the service,
- The Civetta Bolide was the first non-American brand in the game
- Whilst the BeamNG Team were German, it took 4 years for a German brand to appear in the game (ETK)
- Ibishu is the most successful manufacturer in the game with 8 different (official) models.
- Burnside is the oldest marque (70 Years old) and Cherrier is the youngest (3 Years old)

One of the biggest names in the Japanese Motor Industry started with a man and his trusty old UTE - it wouldn't be long before the RUSH would be sold globally - and he'd (Hirochi) would be at the forefront of one of the biggest name in the supercar scene. It all started from nothing.

It has to be said, the name of Hirochi's first car was rather ironic...

Also, the CCF2 needs to be moved to 2020, since its lore got a rewrite in the remaster.
