When I download the Roane Mod map, I go into the editor and I'm able to lay out some roads that are unfinished in the mod. I don't see any missing textures anywhere on the terrain floor, but when I exit the game and launch it again all the grass is missing. What is the cause of that - don't know what else to explain because I'm not sure what is causing it in the firts place. Also when I unsub from the mod and download it again, it's still missing. Only I uninstall the game and then sub again will it be fixed.
I had the exact same issue. I dont know how to fix it correctly, but what I did was made a new terrain with grass, then named the one that had the no texture to the same thing and it 'repainted' everything missing. If that makes sense. I actually did that on accident because I'm new to all this and honestly dont really know what I'm doing. lol. I was trying everything to fix it.
Morning Railgun, thank you for the reply. I have since figured that after this happens you just change the grass of the map in the texture editor to something other than “missing texture” so I was building nice roads and adding new buildings and houses right, and then the game had an update. All my works was removed and the map went back to default! So disheartening. but thank you kindly for the help.
