I used to play it back in 2010-2011. I tried to go back to it recently, but the game seems to be dead and won't run on anything above iOS6 in my experience. Even with a jailbroken phone and a hacked version I can't get it to run.
iOS 7 and 8 run Tap Tap Revenge 3 and up. Disney killed the game completely last year though so you won't find it on the app store or anything.
Man I used to play this back in the day so much. I was like a level 87 or something on Tap Tap Revenge 3. I only use my thumbs and still got a 99% on Tap Tap Domination on Extreme. I can't use my index and middle finger like you were in the video.
I gave up on it anyway after the hassle, I mainly have phone games just as a time sink where I don't have another machine, I have plenty of other things to play.
It looks fun! It's like Guitar Hero which I can't find the thing to connect the guitar to so I can't play. Thanks Dummiesman for pointing out the game I'll try it out later!
I used to use thumbs and I could go 3 across with one thumb at a speed so fast I still can't believe. The index finger setup felt odd at first but after a few days of playing a few times a day (was my school bus game ) I got used to it. Oh, and if anyone has the song Shut Your Mouth by Attack Attack! It would be amazing if you could upload it for me. It is one of my favorite songs and I can't find it online anywhere. - - - Updated - - - Oh my god! I found this in the darkest corner of my old external hard drive!! (imported from here)
Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I'm pretty confident I was one of the best players in the world when TTR was still alive. Full comboing a song was a given, and I hit #1 on the leaderboards with a good amount of songs, especially on the more technical numbers like Pass Out and Zombies, March. Played nothing but Extreme difficulty. I used left thumb, right pointer and middle. I've since lost my magic though.
...and so is this - - - Updated - - - I also started my own mobile rythm game, since Tap Tap Revenge is buggy and won't pause on iOS, and making tracks for it is pretty hard as well. Plus the version on Android is just, eh.
Since it's made with Unity it can easily be put on WP Finally got around to making an HD theme (imported from here)
