    Intro and Idea:
I would very much appreciate various "pages" of UI you can toggle through and configure, so there can be one for setting up the car, a clean setup for actually driving it and one for off-roading with UI Apps not needed for road driving, one for bus-driving, one for admiring the depth of simulation and so on.

    Reasoning for this Idea:
The Developers have put in so many wonderful Applications to fill your screen with, addressing the many things to do in the game and I am feeling that this potential is being hampered by not enabling the user to have access to easily switchable pages.

    Example for Inspiration:
My example for a game doing this rather nicely is project cars 2: You can setup one Preset for quick information about tires, brakes and sector timetables and another one for driving on the edge in first person with only the current lap time and offset visible and maybe a digital speedometer and then have another preset that is just full on empty to give you the perfect immersion.

    • Example for a full Setup for dialing in a car

    • Example for a light and focused setup, ideal for concentration and immersion

    • of cause there are different use cases for UI apps in BeamNG.drive compared to Project Cars 2, but in my opinion this makes for an even more necessary overhaul in the aforementioned direction!!!

    Current Situation:
This is so much needed in this game, because there are so many great apps and so many use cases for certain apps that would just be out of place in other scenarios.
One can get very annoyed by having to manually adjust the interface time and time again and it can't be such a difficult thing to implement I bet...

Where this Idea came to be / typical scenario of the current systems downsides:
This Idea came up when me and my friends were setting up off-road cars after driving some mountain streets in utah and we all were annoyed after first having to switch the layout to display power figures and shift point debugs and weight distribution for setting up the car and then having to manually switch back again to fit in a compass and pitch and roll meter plus powertrain control whilst getting rid of simple brake thermals, g-Forces and all the stuff we put for just setting up the car.

    Summarization:
It only takes up time right now and if done once, by setting up switchable pages, toggled via a key and being arranged in the options like you can configure the camera switching order it could be a real game changer, making more use of existing UI-Apps and drastically improving the flow of gaming.

    Thank you for reading!:)

I am very interested to hear your constructive thoughts and am very excited if there is something coming out of it, as I really took my time trying to explain the many pro arguments and benefits of such a system contrasting the hassle of the current way of things!

Thank you for agreeing with me, I wished more people would see this, especially a dev, but I am so exited for when something like this will become reality!
