I'm trying to create a custom engine sound and I have no idea how the file directories work for sounds. I followed this tutorial but the sounds didn't change and I've been searching for hours on an updated or more clear explanation for how to set engine sound up.
pictures of your directories and code would be useful, or if you'd like you can also just upload the whole mod file. i'm not too familiar with the current sound system, but a lot of people are and less vague information could be useful.
it was something wrong with the directory. i had the art folder in the wrong place so it wasn't recognizing the sound. I should have put all my mod resources in an unpacked mods folder to avoid confusing myself.
