Stuck on a loading screen while loading into certain races (career mod)

    when trying to enter certain races (like the drag strip event) it just loads forever, pressing ESC during the loading will get you unstuck from a softlock but you will be unable to move. I have no mods installed and I already tried cleaning the cache and verifying file integrity
