stuck in reverse

    hello im just in need of a small amount of help. my game keeps getting my cars stuck in reverse. i can fix it by changing gear styles but its starting to get annoying. it has been going on for many versions of beamng since around 3.6 i think. any help would be appreciated

    Controller? Wheel? Just keyboard?

    Go to CONTROLS and hit the 'RESET ALL' button.

    this happens on no matter what periferal that i use. my wheel my ps4 controller and keyboard. it happens on all vehicles. ill try the reset butten when i get back to my pc

    If you hit the key/button to shift gears, the game will assume you want to shift gears yourself, and switch from Arcade shifting mode to Manual or Automatic shifting mode. Along with a helpful message on the top left, letting you know why it happened.

    i have done that and thats the only way to fix it for me but its getting very annoying. i would like the arcade auto to actualy work

    Auto arcade works as fine.


    Can you go to CONTROLS > HARDWARE and press ALT+O.
    Then copy the image that appears here.
