Could anybody make a map where theres 90 degree angle hills that you can go up, with a normal vehicle, but the ground is super sticky? Like, you could still drive off of it, just unlimited traction with every vehicle.
It's a cool idea, but one that simply doesn't quite work in practice. Even being generous with all aspects of this idea, cars are limited by either power or by the fact that at angles above ~80*, even the hillclimb cars struggle. I tried a couple different ways of testing it out, but this is pretty much as good as I got it: Most cars simply can't overcome gravity even if they are given enough downforce and grip that they stick to the road (without actually becoming stuck to it, which would be a problem with normal cars on terrain that would be that sticky.)
This ^ and cars aren't designed to be driven upside down or vertically, the engine would starve of oil among other things. Also, in order for there to be enough grip (not to mention that the car will eventually fall backwards off even if there's no wheelspin) the friction coefficient would cut the power dramatically.
The videos that aren't recorded on youtube, dont load for me, so I dont know about what u made xd sorry, also, it was just a concept in which I could try to make, but i am a beginner, so.. yeah
