Steering Update

I really don't like the update to the steering (of which I could find no information) because I find it really master. I understand that cars in real life won't go straight if you take your hands off the wheel but constantly moving the stick from left to right after going round a corner is really difficult and I often crash or end up on the wrong side of the road.

 

What stick are you using? I’m using a Xbox controller rn and I don’t seem to have the problems you have.Maybe upload a video of the problem?

 

Woops misread what this was about. Still gonna keep what I posted before since the Vivace is a nightmare for keyboard users (like me because I like pain).

Edit:The stability control can cause the vehicle to not steer or over correct itself.

 

My internet bandwidth isn't that great at the moment so uploading files is really hard so I'll try and explain in best detail, I use an XBOX controller btw and I have checked for any problems and there are none. When straightening up from a turn I naturally let the stick move to the centre and correct if necessary. However since the 0.19 update when straightening up from a turn the car pulls in the opposite direction, and when going straight on uneven ground the car will turn to one side, usually with me ending up in a tree. This "problem" (I'm assuming it's intentional) is not limited to the FCV, it is on all vehicles.

 

Hmmm...ok maybe you should ask the devs for help on this one I’ve got no ideas(I haven’t encountered the same problem tbh)

 

i use a wheel and when i let go off it the car goes straight. been playing on a wheel since 2017 and never had (official) cars not go straight

 

my wheel has a loose internal gear but still centres well enough that official vehicles track straight.
and my xbox controller doesnt have steering issues either

 

Yeah probably should have mentioned I have FFB enabled, thanks @Nadeox1
