Steam achievements might be coming?

I saw this under Stats on BeamNG's SteamDB page

"Meters driven" Could that mean there's Steam achievements coming including for how far you've driven total?

 

One of the devs mentioned somethings about cumulative odometers that count how many Km's or miles you have done in each car when asked about it several months ago. Absolutely no idea where it was said but i remember reading it.

 

It says "stats" I think it is like in minecraft ( I know good example) that it just tells you how far you've gone in the game.. May be an achievement.. May not be.. I don't think so yet. They have more important stuff to do than achievements.. Also it's maybe just a test to see if stuff works
