    hello,

    I work on this.
    There is a 10km long asphalt road with a lot of turns and a dirt road with some jumps. These roads climb until the summit where you will can fall down.

    I continue the decoration and test a lot of setting (because fps lag). Tell me if it's better or if it's worst (or if it's same :) )(so there is a new version added)

    I have always lags problems, when i do a big drift with a car, it's really awfull ... I don't think that is my fault, so, I presume that will corrected soon. I have too a problem with the grass who don't load enough quickly. But I suppose it's same.

    So, since the preversion, I've remade the road and her edges. She's a little bit smoother and more beautifull (in the turns). I have added several old houses and barns, cows in fenced meadows, etc. I have worked too on the vegetation, add groundmarking (some on mesh roads ): ). You can wacht some pictures in my post of today.
    This level is soon done. Still 2 or 3 things to do and it will be ok.

    In fact , no. I remake the road, make a ot of scenarios

    14/02/16 edit:
    - added a small port / a dike
    - added a trail who climb the stairs of the mountain
    - more cows
    - 12 scenarios
    - lot of work on the asphalt road. I've change the texture, decrease the width, decrease the slope in some turns
    - I've decrease the size of the map file
    ( :/ the skid marks are still lagging at the hour of today. Avoid to skid at high speed)

    I've founded a solution concerning the laggy skid marks. The method is simple. I don't think that it justifies an update

    The last map you made descent road was brilliant and I hope that this gets released.

    yes it is you can do some sick switchbacks with it, the mesh road tool is very good and makes

    extremely smooth roads.

    yes it is the road shape of the editor. I use this too for the walls along the road. I even made the feet of the bridges with this.
    this tool is very conveniente. although, some used it for put railguards , i don't know how they do that, but, Doullpeper, ça pourrait t'être utile. regarde dans Trenelgen

    however, the road shape tool make roads no smooth at all when we rotate the road (banked turn for exemple )

    Somebody know how do work correctly the skybox ? i have no cloud in my sky ......
    est ce que quelqu'un sait comment faire fonctionner correctement la skybox?

    underneath the environments tabs there should be clouds, click on the and name the object, press enter.

    That reminds me of the Transfagarasan Highway in a way...was that your inspiration?

    i don't knew this road, but i have seen a picture on the forum, and it's true that it look like. I just wanted to make a road who climb until the summit without being too steep. and because the area isn't wide (especially on top), that make a lot of turn

    It is in Romania and Top Gear did an Episode on it I think it was in Season 14 Episode 1 I believe go take a look at it :)

    yes, in top gear, i remember a little . i don't knew his name. This road is just the result of constraints, like for me

    Top Gear Season 14 Episode 1 was the hunt for the Transfagarasan Highway I know that much.

    Ahh I see map size limits I wish it was larger for a road of that scale...

    yes but bigger she is, more she demand labor / oui mais plus elle est grande, plus elle demande de travail.

    i've put a little forest but that's lag a lot .... i believe that i must erase that ... is there a way to do work this correctly or not ???
    j'ai mis une petite foret mais ça rame à mort. je crois que je vais l'effacer. est ce qu'il y a un moyen pour faire marcher ça correctement ? ou pas ? :(

    Yes, select the tree then push the delete button on your keyboard ,double click to select and delete a lot at once.
