    Hi guys,

I'm fairly new to this forum I bought DRIVE yesterday. But I would like to give some ideas for new cars.

    -Tanks

Imagine crushing tiny cars with a big tank :)

    -Sport Cars

Who doesn't want a high speed crash!?

Hope someone can make this happen!

    Welcome to the forums!

The Civetta Bolide is one sports car already in-game. Ibishu 200BX and Hiroshi Sunburst are two more sports cars of Gabe's design, but aren't ready yet.
From the top of my head, there's an M3, BRZ, AE86, S13, WRC Polo, and my Quattro being worked on, so Drive will have a pretty strong roster of sports cars.

I'm not entirely sure if the physics can handle tanks, but Rigs of Rods could, so all we can do is wait and see ;)

Tanks would be pushing the engine really hard. A tank has a ton of wheels, and a tank tread is like a chain with many different solid parts that are all on hinges. I believe it's possible with this engine, but may require a lot of power to make a tank actually run correctly.

Wouldn't something like a M1128 work, it don't use treads. It have 8 wheels.

There were very basic tracked vehicles in RoR, so they would work here, especially since the vehicle collision is better. They might deform easily though...

I had a tank working in RoR, but since I was brainfarting or something at the time I made it, it sucked(nothing felt rigid). As soon as slidenodes get implemented it'll be fun to retry making a tank. I might give it a shot. Easily possible with the huge amount of nodes and beams the game can handle though :) I got decent FPS in RoR with my tank, and I get like, double the FPS with Gabes cars here than I did with his MV4 in RoR. So performance won't be the problem :)
