SOLVED Sound gone

Since yesterday evening my sound in BeamNG is just gone. I was playing as usual and then the sound just disappeared. Since it was already late evening here in Germany I just decided to try it out the next figuring it must be my Windows 11 messing around. But still, no sound ...

Help is highly appreciated, this game is unplayable without sound...

Edit: Launching it in Safe Mode didn't help either...

Have you tried restarting the game? Have you checked to make sure your audio devices (if you're using any) are plugged in?

 

My loudspeakers are clearly plugged in, I'm currently watching YouTube with them I've restarted the game several times, even in Safe Mode, but nothing worked.

Clearing Cache neither...

 

Weird... I don't know.

 

I’d say verify game files or reinstall the game.

Huh.
The 2 things left would be checking if there’s a non-game problem that just affects the game (let’s say your computer suddenly hates it), or performing a clean game reinstall.

 

I'll try looking further into the problem tomorrow as I'll be in Frankfurt for a class trip the whole day. Still thanks for your help

Checked my Windows Sound Mixer and surprise: BeamNG was muted for whatever reason. I don't know why it was muted and how it muted itself while I was playing the game, all that I know is that I HAVE SOUND AGAIN
