Alright I'm getting tired of this so expect me to put a little less care in this post here

I'm trying to improve an Automation mod made by someone else, right? So I duplicated their mod from the repo, moved the duplicate to the mods folder, extracted it, changed the name, deleted the info.json file, etc. etc. Now I deactivate the original mod linked to the repo, activate the duplicate mod (which was modified slightly and then zipped for a test run), load up the map and car, go into the vehicle selector and the vehicle is just gone. The duplicate mod is activated, I deactivated the original mod (but still kept it there) and changed nothing but the names of the ESC drivemodes, how the f*ck is this supposed to work!? Is it possible to edit a mod whilst it's still in the mods folder, or do I have to like, f*cking move it to the vanilla vehicles folder (which, mind you, I can't f*cking find (even with show hidden items on in FE)) and risking breaking the game or smth? I know I'm doing something wrong here but I just can't put my finger on it

Hmm, I’ve had this problem. The solution that worked for me was deleting the repo mod. Then I just used the copied one as the main version of it. Maybe there’s a better solution but for now this will have to work

EUREKA!!!!!! I found the problem!!! I simply had to create a folder called "unpacked", put the mod in the folder, and then it showed me all my unpacked mods! Thanks a lot though, charge_1!
