Hello, I've been playing BeamNG since 3 years. I just installed a new ssd and made a fresh Windows installation.

When I try to play the game, it comes to main menu without problems. But in the main menu I have around 1 fps. Background video too. I can't even click buttons (Play etc.). They turn into orange as it should be when I hover the mouse over them but I'm not sure if it registers my clicks. I am unable progress further anyway.

    Things I tried:
    - I tried using safe mode and it works without any problems.
    - So I tried deleting all my mods, tried normal mode and it's still unplayable.
    - I tried changing settings, doesn't work. I tried installing both on my ssd and hdd, same thing happens.
    - I already installed all drivers, codecs (i don't know if it helps), other redistributables but nothing helped.
    - Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, didnt help.
    - Other games are working fine.

Any idea how can I solve this? Thanks.

    Edit:
Here is how I solved it:
    - Ran game in safe mode, go to Options > Graphics and disable "Hardware Accelerated User Interface" setting. If already disabled, then enable, run game, and disable it back. Next time you run the game it should be fixed.

options graphics FPS limiter, set to no more than 60
    Exit
    Open up "normal" mode

It may be due the 'Hardware Accelerated User Interface' setting, in Options > Graphics.
    Safe Mode forces that disabled.

This setting is experimental, and while it works for most users, it may not work fine in some particular setups.
What's your setup and specs? How many GPUs do you have?

May be better to keep it disabled for you.
Use Safe Mode, navigate to that menu, and disable that setting (if already disabled, then enable and disable it back).

This worked, thank you so much!

It was disabled initially, I tried enabling and running in normal mode, it wasn't fixed. Then I disabled it back through the safe mode and next time I ran the game in normal mode it is fixed.

I will edit solution to my initial post.
