So, these days modern cars have a soft limiter at lets say 4000 when the car is in Neutral or in Park if its a automatic. And in a manual when the Handbrake is on, car is in Neutral or the car is in 1ste and at 0km/h (my car is a manual and works like this) the revs wont go above 4000. is this something that can be added to the game? **EDIT** Added example of my car
Useless??? I found more use for a soft limiter IRL than you think. And this is a safety feature to ensure you dont rev a car to redline while standing still.
No, this is not the correct way of launching a vehicle. You are not supposed to gas to 4000RPM in N then shift to D, you should full brake, shift into D, then full throttle to rev up, and release the brake at launch.
Umm, I never said I used this on auto gearbox. My manual car has a 4000rpm safe limiter. It can be used as Launch Control as it is at 4k rpm. And my auto car has factory Launch control which is activated by putting the gearbox in S and traction control off, then pressing hard on the brake and flooring the accelerator and it keeps the revs at 3500 and builds boost.
