Skin questions

hi i was just wondering if you could have more than one skin like could you change skin on a car like you can change the version of the car? i cant seem to find any info on this :/ anyone know if i can switch skins fast and easy? and am i doing something wrong when i get missing textures?

 

In the current version of the game, probably not.
If you're referring to the texture for the vehicle itself when you say skin, that is entirely related to the texture files in that vehicle's folder. It might be possible to create different parts for a vehicle that had different skins, however that would require some significant modding. As far as the colors set in the ingame editor, I am fairly certain that there could be a way to save and load different textures and change them through the editor, however this would require some effort, and I am not sure if it would be entirely practical.
I may be wrong on either of those fronts, so if anyone would care to correct me, feel free.
