    So I decided to create my first skin for the 200bx but I'm having issues. The skin shows up in the parts selector but when I click on it the car stays the same.

    What it's supposed to look like,

    any help would be appreciated.

    Could be that your overlayMap is set to
    Code:
    overlayMap[2] = "vehicles/coupe/itashacoupe/itasha.dds";

    Rather than
    Code:
    overlayMap[2] = "vehicles/coupe/itasha/itasha.dds";

    Sadly still didn't fix it. I looked at the redbull skin to see if I was missing anything but everything seems to be correct..

    In the jbeam, you've got the globalSkin set to "itasha" and in the materials.cs, you have
    Code:
    singleton Material("coupe.skin.itashacoupe")
    and
    Code:
    mapTo = "coupe.skin.itashacoupe"
    The globalSkin in the jbeam needs to be the same as "itashacoupe" in the materials.cs.
