skid marks

    does anyone know how to increase the length of skid marks? i feel like they are to small and they disappear to quickly

    I feel like the size of a skid mark is proportional to the size of the tire.. I'm not sure about increasing the time before they disappear though.

    no not the size to the tyre, the size as in length

    Wouldn't you just drift for a longer distance? If you're really crazy about it then you could lower the grip of the tires so that you slide everywhere but I'm pretty useless when it comes to telling you how to do it.

    yer thats all easy but i want longer skid marks so they dont disapear so quick

    Open the editor (F11), go to decal editor, find the skidmark decal, and increase the lifespan and fade time to some absurdly high number like 99999

    Well, Idk why you would want this, because there's almost always skidmark lag to begin with.

    yer it still fades to quick and the number wont go any higher
    its like it hits a partical limit then it just starts removing old skids

    You need to save the decal like that, otherwise it will revert as soon as you close the editor.
