Outdated Better Sounds Mod [5.1.1] works with 0.18.0.1

Can you please help? It doesn't work and I installed it correctly! What the heck?

 

Did you checked the troublshooting section of the post ?

Bug: If you drive a first vehicle with an interior sound playing, if you change to a second vehicle the sound will stay on the first vehicle

Troubleshooting:
1 - Help the mod doesn't work !
You need to restart the game at least 1 time to get the mod working. (install mod / start / restart and it work)

2 - Help the mod doesn't work !
Also, the mod seem to have some problems with engine sound mods, if you have engine sound mods installed please place only my mod in the mod folder, launch the game, close it, and place the engine sounds mods.

3 - Help i don't have the keys in settings !
Did you put the input action lua file in the main game folder ?

4 - Help the sounds doesn't stop playing when i switch vehicle in first person !
This is a bug. I don't find any way to fix it

And i have other sound for some cars

 

Mayhaps an installation video is in order... I could certainly get some use out of it since I can't get it to work either.

Thank you. The video did help and helped me verify the installation process. Now that I know that I have everything installed correctly, with the lua folder in the game folder, I need to know how to get the key bindings. Because they aren't showing up.

 

after playing with this for a while I think its pretty good! I just think the sirens could use a little tweaking to make them sound more in a video game but everything else is very nice. Keep it up!

What did you use to dampen the siren sound for the interior? I figured out how to change the siren sound using a .ogg converter, but can't figure out how to make it quieter for the interior.

 

You need Audacity, import your sound and then go to effect and "Low pass filter' and customize it like you want

You read the Troubleshooting section of the post ? and tried everything ?

 

yes I did and everything worked but not the horn

 

And you binded the key ? It's strange

 

binded what key. the horn dosent come up in the controles and I cant toggle the lightbar to not have sirens.
