On the bus, the radiator is side mounted, yet still gets a lot of airflow that it shouldn't.. There is a lot more airflow on a front mounted rad than a side mounted.. Thus it's very hard to overheat the bus at speed, unless you size the radiator to be small, which causes it to get really hot at low speed..
I was thinking the same lately but then I suggested to myself that something like your avatar must be taking care of the air flow
