I just wanted to ask if the timing between shifts could be disabled.
I am using a Logitech G27 manual, clutch, H-shifter, no assists, no gearbox protection and sometimes when I shift there is that time between me putting in gear and the game putting the car in gear.
I would love to have that as an option in the future, just like the newer blinker system.
With the blinker I mean that if the wheels are turned the same way as the blinker is shining, and i want to put the blinker on the other side i have to press twice, with a pretty old version of BeamNG.drivethere was only one press required to make the change.

With an H shifter there is no timing at all, only your movement speed restricts shifting time.
You might be trying to shift too early (without using the clutch correctly) though, that imposes a time penalty.

Oh, yea i do get it out of gear then push the clutch in, then put it in gear, all in a small bit of time.
Ok, i did not think there was a penalty. Thank you.

The clutch has to be fully pressed when you go into gear. Otherwise it will damage the gearbox.
Just tapping the clutch isn't effective while shifting.
My method is to start pressing the clutch as the same time that I'm moving the shifter.
Most of the time it works just fine.
