Shadows causing game to lag

Whatever I do on every map except West Coast, as soon as I turn on the shadows my game drops below five FPS. If I turn the shadows off and back on it works no problems. I´ve tried safe mode, manually removing all mods and reinstalling the game. I even set up my computer from zero. Every other game I have installed can be maxed out and won`t cause any problem. I don´t know what do do.

PC specs:
Ryzen 7 5800X
RTX 3070ti
64 GB RAM
BeamNG installed on an otherwise empty 240GB M.2 SSD

Please help.
