    Hi guys,

just got BeamNG. I have a G27 Steering wheel and I'm trying to set it up, but I fail miserably.

I found a setup page in the game, but it wont allow me to change anything.

Steering works (to some degree) accelerator works, and brakes (although combined with reverse)

Anyone has some tips for how to setup the wheel?

BTW; Does BeamNG support forced feedback?

Thanks, sorry for the (probably) silly Noob question :)

Have you gotten the logitech profiler? And, yes it does support force feedback. Also go into more detail about the steering.

Thanks for the quick reply. Steering works with some cars, others not. Especially weird that it works with some cars but only on certain models (RWD but not AWD for example)
During some games the steering suddenly drasticly changes, and steers hard to the left and only resets by restarting the game.

I seem only to get Automatic to work, not manuel. The shifter is dead.

I have the profiler, but I dont know how to map it for this game. On the other hand, Im not to high on the profiler, since I on all my other games been doing the mapping in the game and not through the profiler.
Is the Profiler the key to success?

Huh. Not sure why the steering would only work on some models. I do know that the drastic changes in steering can be resolved by turning off force feedback in the profiler. Is the green light on your shifter on? For the profiler, if you haven't already, create a new profile, and select the BeamNG executable file.

I'll trid setting up a profile in the profiler, did help to some degree, but the shifter is still not working. This seems to be a BeamNG related issue, since the G27 works fine with Spintires and ETS2, so I dont seem to be a hardware related issue.
Do I need to remap the shifter in the game somehow? Do not know where though, the meny for mapping in the game wont let me remap anything?

Jeez, I feel really clueless.

The car needs to be a manual/have a manual option. Cycle through 'Q' to change gear modes. Only some cars are manual.
    Hope this helps. :)

How do you turn FF off? i've set 'specific game settings' to have 0% on feedback, and not ticked 'allow game to change settings', but FF is still working. There doesn't seem to be any mention of FF in inputmaps.

I have a G27, I plugged it into my computer, It took 2 minutes and automatically installed drivers. (I did nothing) then I opened the game and everything worked, (shifter and all) The force feedback is a little wacky sometimes, but other than that nothing... I'm sorry, I have no clue of whats wrong.. maybe have the computer forget the wheel, and uninstall beamng, plug your G27 back in, and install the game and just open it after the computer finishes the drivers for the G27..

P.S. I'm really out of it right now, so if none of it makes sense, I'm sorry.
