I kinda learnt this trick from SEGA with Sonic Forces, where they put two DLCs, Episode Shadow and Super Sonic, on the PlayStation Store for free. The fans responded very very positively to this move and it was praised for being something more game developers should do, despite the base game itself being very crappy. This strategy will also save players some SSD and storage space since most people won't really use the Gambler 500 vehicles (myself included) due to varying reasons. It sounds like a very beneficial decision for optimizing game file size and (maybe perhaps) performance. Preeeetty please devs?? uppyeyes: And if you really really want to save game space you could potentially also do it to the Automation mod support system too!
meh, the vehicles aren't really full vehicles, just config files for existing vehicles with some new parts. For the 2 full ones I don't really see the point.
Well gambler version are just configs so it wouldn't make sense to be a DLC, some DLC are basically an expansion or more content on the game. If there WAS a DLC it was probably more cars
Or they could separate maps to dlcs (like automation testing, etk driver exp center, or itally) because they take space and some people dont play on all maps
the game ain't to big as is and it seems like it would add more space to those who want all of it due to the added code for it to run as a dlc also to be honest alot of people would probably download all of it because its nice to have the option when you want it
