Back in 1980, in the small Swedish town of Torshälla, a visionary group of engineers and designers came together with a bold idea: to revolutionize the trucking industry and create a brand that would redefine the concept of transportation. Thus, Segra was born, a Swedish truck brand, with its headquarters located in the heart of Torshälla. Segra, which means "to conquer" in Swedish, set out on a mission to develop innovative, sustainable, and high-performance trucks that would not only meet the needs of the present but also anticipate the demands of the future. With a strong emphasis on cutting-edge technology and a commitment to environmental consciousness, Segra aimed to leave a lasting impact on the global trucking landscape. The founders of Segra believed that Sweden's long-standing reputation for engineering excellence and commitment to sustainability made it the perfect birthplace for their venture. Torshälla, known for its manufacturing heritage, provided an ideal setting for the company's headquarters and production facilities. From the outset, Segra focused on three key pillars: reliability, efficiency, and sustainability. Their trucks were designed to withstand the harsh Nordic climate and challenging terrains while ensuring optimal fuel efficiency and minimal environmental impact. The company employed advanced aerodynamics, lightweight materials, and hybrid or electric powertrains to achieve these objectives, setting new industry standards in the process. Segra's commitment to sustainability extended beyond their vehicles' engineering. They implemented eco-friendly practices within their production processes, such as recycling waste materials and minimizing energy consumption. Furthermore, they actively collaborated with local communities and organizations to promote environmental awareness and conservation efforts. As Segra grows, they are keen to maintain their commitment to Torshälla, recognizing the town as the birthplace of their success. They actively supported the local community by creating job opportunities, investing in infrastructure, and sponsoring educational programs focused on engineering and sustainable practices. The bond between Segra and Torshälla became inseparable, with the brand becoming a source of pride for the town's residents. Today, Segra stands as a symbol of Swedish engineering excellence and sustainable transportation solutions. From its humble beginnings in Torshälla, the brand has conquered the global stage, offering a range of trucks that embody the company's core values of reliability, efficiency, and sustainability. Segra's legacy serves as an inspiration to future generations of engineers, reminding them that innovation and progress can arise from even the smallest of towns. To set it straight from the start, this is going to be a paid mod as it its released. I started this as a personal project but since it has the capability and the quality, i figured i might aswell be released, but for a price to support any future additions. This is a very passionate project and one that has surpassed a year in development already. Lets go over the features: Scratch made JBeam, model and textures. Openable doors, top grille, bottom grille, storage cabinets. Tiltable cab with locking mechanisms. Fully paintable panels, frame and hubs with plastic options. 18L V8 engine with options. Automaticly controlled manual gearbox. Adjustable roof spoiler for different trailer heights. Different tank setups and sizes. 2 battery box variants, one on the side of the frame and one mounted behind the fifth wheel. Full LED lightning. Speed limited ECU Fully air suspended cab, front and rear suspension AdBlue tank. Realistic weights and capabilities This truck is going to be initially released with a 4x2, 6x2 and 6x4 and 10x4 variant but as written earlier, more variants can easily be added in the future. The same goes for the cab, only the biggest D+ cab is going to be present during the initial release. Here what is planned for the future, i have an endless list of stuff to add, but here's a little taste: 4 different cab heights and 3 roof heights. 12.6l i6 engine with lower hp specs. An even smaller i6 for distribution stuff with low hp and automatics. More plastic stuff. Halogen lights. Parable suspension options. 6x2 boggie lifting system. Rigid variants. Trailers. Have a system for a working AdBlue tank. I think that about concludes most of what is going on atm. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
Not that they're boring or don't have a place, it's just that scenarios in Italy are forced to use the only tractor-unit-semi-truck-thing Gavril, or other US spec trucks.
ooo very nice trucc materials look super proppa can't wait to drive into the various objects also hoping there will be an option fo add the patricks for the true Jimmy Broadbent experience
Oh. Understandable. Tbh, this is a lot of work to create something this detailed. Kinda sucks for me though as I'm currently saving up for something.
Too bad this mod will be a paid mod when it releases, really disappointed And the problem is my debit card doesn't support payment in gumroad or kofi and I'm worried that my card is not safe Hopefully there is a demo version
