SBR4 intake makes no sense

Exhibit A: On naturally aspirated models of the SBR4, the intake manifold is missing its intake hose. It appears to be drawing air directly from the engine bay, rather than from the cold air intakes on the sides (see exhibit C).

Exhibit B: On turbo models, the T-shaped intake hose is present, but intake/turbo hoses are not correctly arranged. The turbos appear to draw in air from inside the engine bay, compress it and... blow it out the vents on the sides. Meanwhile, the intake manifold is not in any way connected to the turbo system. Also, there is no intercooler, unless the two side vents are meant to contain intercoolers.

Is the issue still present in safe mode? It's quite possible the issue is from a mod.

 

Yes. Fresh install, no mods. The models are just nonsense.

I suppose the vents could be supposed to contain intercoolers on the turbo models, and that's why the hoses go like that... still doesn't explain why the N/A models are missing their intake hoses.

 

Inb4 "it doesn't matter how realistic the cars are because this is not real life"

 

Also, side scoops are pretty much part of the doors...
