SBR4 8th gear.

When using the SBR4, twin turbo stage 2, DCT. Everything is fine until 399 KM/H: http://prntscr.com/9qaom0

When the car reaches 400 KM/H it shifts to a mysterious "8th gear": http://prntscr.com/9qaosh and things get glitchy, the steering wheel gets stuck: http://prntscr.com/9qap6o and the engine is also stuck at max rpm, if you stop the car, it will eventually start to go backwards by itself. xD

Can you not shift into this gear normally in a manual setting?
Also do you have mods for the sbr4?
If not this is weird and i have to look in the engine file for the sbr4 later to see what this is...

 

No, it is up to 7th gear, and if I have it in manual setting, it still shifts automatically at 400 KM/H.

I've had the same thing happen with the Sunburst at around 206 MPH, it will get stuck in a nonexistant 7th gear. it seems to be related to the DCT

 

SBR4 can't get 400km/h, even after I stripped the vehicle its top speed is still 303km/h.
You must got one of those stupid massive power engine MOD or you are going downhill that broke the transmission after going to fast

 

I think your problem is that you are trying to reach the top speed of the original Veyron (406kmh) in a Japanese Shooting Break.

Changing the gear mode does seem to have some effect though.

 

What part of "Use the wind app" did you not get?

 

I think it's the dct transmission cause the sunburst does the same thing.

 

I know the wind app was used, but still, the car is not meant to go those speeds. Unexpected results will happen!

 

Doesnt change that there is obviously a bug with the DCT implementation

... Just because it's going faster than normal doesn't mean an 8th gear is logical.

Do that in any car that isn't DCT... like the Bolide or a more generic car.
Or add a thruster... I've gone over 1000km/h in a T-Series the only unexpected results were obviously what happens when you crash, which for anyone familiar with this game are more like expected results.

Don't try to blame the user for this.. he found a bug that has been in the game for who knows how long.. I think this is interesting, why are you trying to defend it by saying he is insane for over-driving the transmission.

Um, no, it can't. I just experienced the same problem. The same car, again it says I'm on the 8th gear and when I'm not applying the brakes, the engine just goes to the highest RPMs. Switching to the Real Automatic transmission and back solved the problem.

Edit: Or am I just dumb and this fix will be a part of the next update? If that's the case, when?
