What happens when you want an affordable, "reliable" city car that can manage 40mpg+ even with your lead foot? You end up with a subcompact 2 door sedan with "advanced" suspension, "zingy" 1000cc, 1200cc, and 1400cc engines. GT's 1200cc twin carburator engine has a higher lift camshaft accompanied by a higher compression ratio for much increased torque and power Known issues; Generally prone to spiking in crashes 100~kg too heavy Fragile steering rack Some things either don't make sense or are generally not functioning Not entirely stable jbeam Spoiler: FAQ - README BEFORE POSTING Q: why doesn't it use MSC sounds??? / why did you get rid of the old sounds??? A: they suck Q: why wipers no worky??? A: the mod those relied on to work no longer works with BeamNG versions newer than 0.14 (probably) Q: why are my materials broken??? It's actually nice to see a vehicle from a different game ported to BeamNG. SpeirsTheAmazingHD would be interested in reviewing this mod, as he made YouTube videos on both BeamNG and My Summer Car. However, in the past few days, the thread for this mod has been taken down - not once, but twice already. I hope you made sufficient changes that conforms to the forum rules and guidelines. That way, more people can download and use this mod.
He hopes it won't be taken down because he has basically tripled checked the entire mod to make sure there is nothing that will get the forum removed.
so excited! question though. can you actually use the radio? I see that you can add the song in the configuration settings but I don't know how to use it if you even can. BTW this mod is awesome already and can't wait to see where it goes from here.
You can actually use the radio! In order to do this you need to go into the parts config and find dashboard and look for cd player. After that you can chose none, or custom for music (other one doesn't work) In order to add custom music, make sure to unpack the mod. After that, go into your unpacked folder in your mods folder, look for the satsoom, go to vehicles, satsoom, and custom. To get the custom music working, name the .mp3 you want (idk if others work) to custom. MAKE SURE TO EITHER DELETE OR RENAME THE CUSTOM ALREADY IN! And to play the music ingame, hit m twice (it's a siren but no lights so you have to hit it twice to get music)
I already posted this the last time it was up but I guess the post got taken down so I'll say it again. This mod is really impressive, I'm seriously impressed with all the detail in it: every button moves like it should (hazard lights switch, light switch, wipers switch, etc), the gear shifter shakes when at high revs just like in the game, the wipers work, the alternator charge light (not sure what it's called) turns on, the ignition key moves now, I could be wrong but I think even the clock gauge responds to the correct time on your system! It doesn't matter so much to me that the crashes aren't very good, just having the Satsuma in BeamNG is good enough for me I also like how you included pretty much all of the aftermarket options from MSC, if one wanted they could recreate their own Satsuma from MSC in BeamNG.drive!
