Released Sandstorm Performance Rally Warrior 2.51

So basically, this was Sandstorm's first attempt at making an offroad vehicle. They had a lot of experience with engine swaps for the 200BX, as it was a very common car to swap with Bruckell engines. So they put a modified Gavril crate engine in, made a custom lift kit and that was really it. They displayed it in Belasco Auto Show of 1997, and even though Ibishu wasn't too happy, the general public received it very favorably. They went on to win many races in the offroad scene, and the rest is history.

What's added in the mod:
-Cut unibody
-Custom suspension
-Roof basket from the Roamer
-Offroad and rally lightbars, LED headlights, LED tail lights, custom rear fascia
-Custom cowl induction hood (made by @JustYourAverageDuck) and wing
-4.5L V8 with custom sounds, 4.6L race V10
-5.5L diesel V8 with custom sounds, 6L diesel V10 (v1.3)
-All engines an be turbo and/or supercharged
-Boss front fascia for later models (by @LJ74)
-Custom skin based off the IRL counterpart (by @Shadows)
-Lots of configs and lore

FAQ's

Is there/will there be 4WD?
There is no AWD/4WD because the IRL Rally Fighter is RWD only. I may add AWD/4WD in the future, but it is not planned.

Maybe concealed flashers/led lightbar?

 

Not really sure how a led lightbar would be useful, but concealed flashers are a good idea. Problem is they need to be made specifically for the car and can't be ported/moved. I'll see what I can do though, thanks!

By the way @moses72 if you look at the original Boss kit the hood did not line up with the grille either.

I know that this would take a lot of work, but do you think you could make a solid rear axle for this car? The stock rear suspension isn't very suitable for offroading.

Boss front bumper thing material is one sided. It's invisible from the back.

Is there a way to have the balanced unibody without the cut fenders and have the widebody kit instead? Great mod overall, really love it!

 

I could probably make that happen, but not in the near near future as I'm really burnt out on modding right now.
