I'm looking to get a 3060 ti for my Samsung m8 4k monitor, and I got interested in this card because of the 256 bit bus, which is usually enough for 4k. I want 4k 60fps ultra. I'm also thinking getting a i5 13500 to go with it and 16 gb ddr5 or 32 gb ddr4. should I wait for the 4060 ti (which apparently will have a 192 bit bus) 32 gb ddr4 or 16 gb ddr5? has anyone got an rte 3060 ti who would like to share their performance on 0.28 4k?
A 3060 Ti will struggle at 1440p ultra. You're gonna need at least a 3080 if you want to have any hope of playing the game at 4k.
I have a Strix 1080 ti and that is on pair with the 3060 ti, i get around 70-80 FPS on Italy with medium settings at 4K so i can tell you that 60 FPS 4K ultra settings is not happening with a 3060 ti. Keep in mind that the 60 series is a low-end card that never was intended for 4K gaming, another thing is the amount of VRAM. My card have 11 GB of VRAM and on Italy with the above settings the game uses 7.5 GB and more with traffic turned on. The 3060 ti have only 8 GB of VRAM.
