WIP Beta released RHS Realistic Head Movement V3 (Release)

i recently stumbled upon austint30's Enhanced Interior camera, it was super neat, and genuinely REALLY loved the mod, i wanted a little more from it though, and i have been tweaking some things within it, i wanted a little more realistic head movement, and well i think i may have accomplished it, so i am posting it to have others try it i guess,

IF THE AUTHOR SO HAPPENS TO SEE THIS I WILL GLADLY TAKE THIS DOWN,

i don't have any videos or anything on it currently
but i can tell you some of the tweaks i've done even though pretty minor

actual mouse movement will have some roll effects for when looking around

can now peek blind spots realistically without smashing head through the window all the time (you can still do so for seeing the side of the vehicle when reversing)

(additive)? Movement, camera will roll when turning into corners at speed, and made some inertia changes,

a wee bit smoother.

NOTE I AM NOT SURE IF THIS WILL CONFLICT WITH THE EXISTING MOD
I RENAMED AND DELETED ANYTHING THAT MAY OVERWRITE THE ORIGINAL MOD
IN THEORY IT SHOULD COMBINE WITH THEM BY ADDING THE CAMERA NAMED

ALSO KEEP IN MIND IT'S USING THE ENHANCED DRIVER CAMERA BY AUSTINT30
AS A BASE.

MAY CAUSE MOTION SICKNESS

ONCE THE MOD IS INSTALLED BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR INERTIA STRENGTH
AND LOCK TO HORIZON TO WHAT I HAVE HERE.

Best results for me personally

IF CHANGES DON'T APPLY OR YOUR CAMERA IS OFFSET
PLEASE SWITCH TO STOCK GAME DRIVER CAMERA AND PRESS CTRL+L TO RESTART LUA
SHOULD APPLY AFTERWARD.

You can do it free using a webcam, it is surprisingly good.

But I also really liked the enhanced interior camera too, so will check this version out. Sometimes you want different things, or lag is more of an issue (e.g. in a race), but crawling with head tracking is pretty awesome.

 

Can you add a version with the no shake at 100 mph?

glad you like it, i'd highly recommend checking out Tire Gorilla, Version 8 will be dropping on the 20th alongside a few other of my mods

 

nice. BTW the camera follows the terrain and not the car which is annoying

dude, what are your settings? My camera doesn't move like that. Also, does this need the other mod to work?

i've been using it for 2-3 days
amazing mod
gives the driving actual sense of speed
good job :3

 

Now I can see the differences, however, I can't notice any difference between having this and the other mod active or just the other mod. I can't "check my blindspots", just like the author showed in the picture

 

what do you mean? if you want to check your blind spots you just have to turn your camera

 

are you sure that you downloaded the addon correctly? it should say Realistic Head Movement in your camera modes
