The game really won't lag unless you go crazy, don't be scared of using more polys, just keep an eye on how many you are using.
I can't wait for the trucks and circuit car in this pack, I never got to drive them since Beam updated on Christmas while I was installing the game on Steam
YIKES! I just tried the new 0.9 update and it really broke my mods. Here is the status of all my vehicle mods below... (bold=unusable) Sandstorm: Completely broken. Vortexx: missing interior. Apex: Completely broken. TrophyT: wheels explode on spawn. RC pack: untouched Extreme remake pack: missing interior Just getting this out of the way before someone complains. If people starts asking why any of my mods are broken, just quote this post to them. I'm not sure if I will be fixing any of the mods due to my low motivation issue and laziness. Sorry for the inconvenience.

You can stop the update from downloading and installing just by right-clicking the game and going into "manage downloads", bu i don't think you can play an steam game if there is an update available. In that case just go to the beamng steam files and backup the old version of the game. The game isn't locked to steam.
I have no issues with the TrophyT besides a missing interior, tires are fine, and the visibility was bad in first person so I never used it anyway, btw I realized how similar these 2 are, I will start using the stripped version more now
I know I haven't posted anything here in a while so I'll update you guys here on the progress. Yeah, not too much since the low motivation gets me. Don't worry its not gonna die. It is just a slow progress.

I kinda have no confidence in the apex xcr for right now because it is too unstable. I mean using the street tune without assistants spins out way too easily and I am not sure how to fix that or if its possible to fix it with this being light weight and being rwd. The street tune don't have very much power so its not the power. Someone tried to help but they said its just a lack of grip. Having more friction can cause it to become unrealistic because for right now the tires are at or close to stock values. I could also make it awd but people could complain that track cars never use awd. I want to just release the vortexx and be done with it but look at the voting. Almost everyone choose to have a pack. I don't have a good feeling about this mod. I know the sandstorm remake might not look too different. What am I gonna do? I am starting to lose motivation of this pack again.
You could try using wider tires, or you could try finding a way to use aerodynamics to improve the handling. You could also adjust the gear ratios so that it's more controllable in lower gears
I'd just release it separate, and then once everything's done put it all in a pack. Keep the separate mods on here, and then put the whole pack on the repo, have each car's development thread separate and use this as a sort of "general updates" thread I guess. That's how I'd do it, but I'm not you, and you are admittedly quite a lot more awesome than I am. (I'm a child of the internet, self roasts aren't intended to be taken seriously, calm down everyone, I'm not suicidal or anything.)
