Video has no sound. I'm not gonna download a mod if I can't get some sort of preview.

Alright. Could you DM me the video it was taken from? I'd like to see it. And from my knowledge resonators don't make an engine sound V10ish.

And wrongly fitted?? I've never had a sound fit a car SO PERFECTLY so, i dunno what are you talking about...
Last I checked no sports coupe of the like of an ETK K-Series ever been fitted with a V10.

 

I cannot provide said video simply because i recorded it from an '05 (i think... can't remember) BMW E60 in real life, so...
Resonators make miracles on engine sounds, they make Porsche's Flat 6's sound like Flat 8's... they make big differences.

It's not a V10 for christ sake....
And yes, i know that...

 

Could you provide the audio source then? I'd like to hear it. And could you provide some video examples of the resonators making Flat 6s sound like Flat 8s?

I really am curious at this point.

I don't have the raw original recording... it was recorded long ago with my previous phone.
So, the original one is impossible.

I'm sorry, nothing here sounds like what you advertised, and none of it sounds like a V10. Your sound sounds like an unbelievably smooth Viper.

And because he's used to diesels he thinks 7K sounds like 5K? I'm sorry man, you're flat out wrong there, because I agree and I haven't heard a diesel for quite some time now.

Lmao this is what 6.5K sounds like from an E60.

If you research properly like i did, you'll find a list where the M60B30 appears as one of the engines used by the E60, as well as the M60B40.

Please take concern on your own conversation not the other's.

And you seem to be taking this too seriously for who was doing this out of "curiosity"....

 

Atleast take some goddamn critism. Jesus, isn't that hard? You're doing this mod for others not just for yourself.

OT :Just try to make it more V8-ish if you can. Sounds like V10 to me or every person who desrcibes this engine sound is. Also, try to make it louder and aggresive if you can.

Rusty, I think he is right, it does sound lower rpm than what it should be, it is same as with your Bolide sound, rpm does not match to real rpm.

Of course it is your mod, if you want it sound lower rpm than reality, then you can make it so, but I can tell you that rpm are off, that can't be denied as it is easy to compare to real world video and mod's sound.

Problem is that when pitch bending single sample a lot, it starts to sound thing at higher rpm and to find or create several quality samples that match to each other is indeed problematic, so I can understand if you want to limit how high pitch sample is played, however it is then sounding to be lower rpm than real thing.

 

Finally someone who can explain what's wrong...

It sounds like a V10, lots of people think this. It also needs to be higher pitched, yes, and more raspy sounding. Aggressive, like a V8.
